Santa Anna Deposit
Location, Access, Description
The Santa Anna property is located in Abitibi (Quebec Province) around 15 km southwest of La Sarre and 65 km northwest from Rouyn-Noranda. It consists of 12 contiguous mining claims totaling 567 Ha in La Reine township (NTS 32D14). The claims are wholly owned by Globex and are not subject to any underlying royalties or third party interests.
Topography of that area is quite flat and locally swampy due to the presence of the Maine river as well as several streams. Elevations are comprised between 290 m and 310 m above sea level on the Santa Anna property.
The property is accessible by car, driving on road 111 North from La Sarre, then turning on the Route du Quarante-Cinq toward south and finally on the Range 4 & 5 road toward west. A network of trails then allows to move easily by walk or VTT within the property.

History
Discovery by prospectors of gold mineralization on the Santa Anna property was first mentioned in 1923. A detail of all historical works listed in Quebec’s Government public data is proposed in GM69532 by Globex. Below is a short resume of the most significant works :
Between 1926 and 1928, Adrien Gold Mining Ltd. carried out stripping and sank a 128 feet (39 m) shaft. In 1934-1935 a second shaft 150 feet deep (45.7 m) was sunk by R.H. Bain & Co. as well as 1,220 m of diamond drilling (DDH). A 999.7 m additional DDH campaign was then achieved in 1937.
The property was then worked continuously by successive owners between 1940 and 1994 with numerous short exploration campaigns including geological mapping, stripping, diamond drilling as well as geophysical (MAG, EM, IP) and geochemical surveys (till, soil).
In 1995, Altavista Mines Inc. acquired the property then carried out an extensive exploration program including geological data compilation and economic evaluation (1995), MAG, IP and EM-VLF surveys (1996-1997), strippings (1997) and 164 DDH totaling over 22,000 m of diamond drilling (1996-1998).
Between 2001 and 2005, Systèmes Géostat International Inc. undertook compilation, stripping, sampling, diamond drilling, reverse drilling, and bulk sampling. A 143.3 metric tons bulk sample returned 0.059 oz/t and 0.61 oz/t Ag (2.02 g/t Au and 20.88 g/t Ag), which did not justify further exploration by Géostat at that time (GM61835).
A 43-101 technical report was then produced by Vantex Resources Ltd. in 2008 (GM63742) as well as a general compilation for Exploration Carats in 2014 (GM68215). In 2015, Globex refreshed 2 historical strippings then carried out 95.28 m of channel sampling. Best assays included 12,35 g/t Au et 9,7 g/t Ag over 0,70 m and 3,19 g/t Au et 0,3 g/t Ag over 1,10 m (GM69106).
Resources and Potential
A few non 43-101 compliant resource estimations have been calculated historically on the Santa Anna deposit. The most recent one by Mines Altavista Inc. in 1998 indicates a non 43-101 compliant resource of 330,960 metric tonnes at a grade of 3.07 g/t Au, based on a mineralized thickness of 2 m, and 356,721 metric tonnes at a grade of 2.42 g /t Au, based on blocks with a minimum thickness of 5 m (GM56171).
Less than 15 km north of the property is the former Duvan mine which produced 1,052 tonnes at 11.99% Cu and 100.80 g/t Ag in 1960. Non-43-101 resources are estimated at 101,000 tonnes grading 2.50% Cu (MB98-06). This property is also 100% owned by Globex.
